Zarmisha Ministry was established to help support local churches in Uganda, Mexico and Pakistan promote the gospel and bring the good news of salvation and eternal life to the world. In the process of preaching the gospel we desire to plant new churches in the local community to grow and nurture new believers and to bring more people into the church. As we plant new churches there is a need to develop local infrastructure to meet the basic human needs of the church and community all in the name of Jesus. Zarmisha Ministry aims to improve the quality of life of people while keeping the primary focus on preaching and spreading the gospel. The strategy is to build a network of local churches that will support and encourage each other and be missionary focused.
With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may count you worthy of his calling, and that by his power he may fulfill every good purpose of yours and every act prompted by your faith. We pray this so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
2 Thessalonians 1:11-12
Currently Zarmisha Ministry is involved with a local church and orphanage located near Jinja, Uganda. The area of the church and orphanage are located just outside Jinja, about a 10 minute drive from the village of Naminya. This area has been ravaged by the AIDS epidemic leaving many orphaned children and broken homes. The Naminya Miracle Church averages 250 people attending on any given Sunday and the Kidron Valley Primary School Orphanage currently has 44 children. The children at the orphanage receive care and education as well as food and shelter. Pastor John Shiundu Mukuya has also planted ten new churches through his gospel crusades which are in need of prayer and financial support and encouragement. Land has been purchased for an eleventh church located in Lwhakaha village and funds are needed to build a church on that land. Pastor John does his work through the Horn of Salvation Ministry (HOSM), a registered tax exempt NGO in Uganda.
Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
Our goal and Pastor John’s is to get churches and people started on the way to supporting themselves through various means rather than having to depend on others. As these organizations and people are able to support themselves, Zarmisha Ministry can move into other areas to help set up more local churches and continue to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.
You are asked to consider making a one-time donation which will be used for the ministry’s greatest needs. Your contribution will be used to purchase items like food, medicine, bibles and building materials. Thank you for your interest and if you are unable to donate, please pray for these ministries so they may reach out to the lost souls and bring them the good news of Jesus Christ.
Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.
What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him, "Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.
